Why Gender Matters
Mental health is a crucial aspect for everyone. Yet, due to a mix of physiological and gender-specific factors, women are at a greater risk for some mental health issues compared to men. Many elements can contribute to mental health challenges for women. These include emotional, biological, and societal influences, which can fluctuate throughout a woman's lifetime. Understanding the need for gender-specific support is key in both preventing and addressing mental health disorders and enhancing the mental well-being of women who face these issues.
